Reaching out for counselling can feel daunting- especially if you are used to coping on your own. You don't need to have the right words or know exactly what you want to work on. We can begin wherever you are, at a pace that feels comfortable to you.

My role as a therapist is to listen and to support you, to ask thought-provoking questions, and to empower you to make life-affirming, positive choices that will improve your emotional well-being. Or maybe it is to help you understand dynamics/ patterns in your life that are playing out but you don't know why. In my work, I draw from a number of different theoretical perspectives, ensuring it is helpful for you.
Our work together will be full of empathy, curiosity and compassion. I am told that I am warm, empathic and non-judgemental. My office is a place where you can let your guard down in the safe knowledge that I am here to help you.
