You might be anxious, overthinking everything or feeling low and unsure why.

Perhaps something has shifted in your life, or you have reached a point where you know something needs to change, but you are not sure what or how.

I offer a calm, supportive space where you don't have to have the answers - just a willingness to begin.

Reaching out for counselling can feel daunting- especially if you are used to coping on your own. You don't need to have the right words or know exactly what you want to work on. We can begin wherever you are, at a pace that feels comfortable to you.

I have over 10 years experience of working with clients on a short to longterm basis.

Who do I work with?

I work with adults who are often self-aware, thoughtful and capable - yet internally feel overwhelmed,
anxious and stuck.

You might recognise yourself if:

  • Your mind feels busy or noisy and it's hard to switch off.
  • You feel anxious or low, even when life looks 'fine' on the outside.
  • You are at a crossroads and don't know which way to turn.
  • You doubt yourself and struggle to trust your own decisions.
  • You are tired of coping alone and want some clarity and relief.

You don't need to be in crisis to come to counselling. Sometimes it's simply about having a space where you can slow things down and make sense of what is going on for you.

How can counselling with me help?

Counselling isn't about fixing you - because you are not broken.

It's about having time and space to:

  • Understand what's really driving your anxiety or low mood.
  • Feel less overwhelmed and more grounded.
  • Why you may be people pleasing or trying to be perfect.
  • Reconnect with yourself and what you need.
  • Build confidence in your choices.
  • Feel calmer, clearer and more like yourself again.

What do I do?

My role as a therapist is to listen and to support you, to ask thought-provoking questions, and to empower you to make life-affirming, positive choices that will improve your emotional well-being. Or maybe it is to help you understand dynamics/ patterns in your life that are playing out but you don't know why. In my work, I draw from a number of different theoretical perspectives, ensuring it is helpful for you.

Our work together will be full of empathy, curiosity and compassion. I am told that I am warm, empathic and non-judgemental. My office is a place where you can let your guard down in the safe knowledge that I am here to help you.
